What makes me a great fit with families, is I am genuine and I love what I do . I am passionate about the skills I bring to the family. I'm a parent and a grand-parent, so I know it takes a great deal of patience . You learn to be flexible and make the necessary adjustments when it's needed while working with children with special needs. This field has taught me a child's learning style, is not a one size fits all. I come to my parents with 30 years experience in the public school system and 17 years working with children with various disabilities in the private sector. I feel what the parents and children love about me is they know I am genuine, passionate about what I bring and do to help and support the children I work with.
